Dswd Dos updated the description of the group Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program- FO 2.
Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program is a poverty alleviation project of the national government which is being implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The program invests in human capital specifically in education, health and nutrition of children aged 0-14 years old.
It is also patterned after the conditional cash transfer programs in Latin American and African countries which have been proven successful as a poverty reduction and social development measure.
For region 02, the program started in 2008 with the municipalities of San Mariano, Palanan and Divilacan as pilot areas.
Now, the program covers 4 cities and 83 municipalities in the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya respectively.
Dswd Dos is now friends with Sansu Tomas Ragsac and Kalahi-Cidss Sa Onse.
